UI Designer

What you will be doing & learning

🎨 User Interface: Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, assets, prototypes for our complex product & landing page. Define, test & implement design criteria to ensure design quality.

💡 User Experience: Apply industry standards and a user-centered approach to your design process. Understand users’ needs & behaviors to continuously improve the product experience.

🧩 Design System: Contribute & leverage our Design System & Documentation.

👥 Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Product Managers, Product Designers, and Engineers to see a project from discovery, research, ideation through implementation & beyond.

🕹 Design Process: Collaborate with the Design team to raise the quality bar & continuously improve Holistics's design processes.

🖍 Visual Design: Collaborating with the Marketing team and Design team to support day-to-day production needs and visual design, to ensure a coherent brand experience.

🧪 Usability Test: Participate in developing & conducting usability tests to validate & refine designs.

You might be a good fit if you...

• Have a strong understanding of design principles & UX best practices.
• Have a strong portfolio demonstrating sensibilities for visual design, user interaction, layout, typography, and readability.
• Good user-centric & problem-solving mindset.
• Value well-crafted designs and care about the details.
• Good written English, able to explain your work, process, and decisions clearly.
• Like to work in a tech product company environment.
• Love working with others to learn and grow together.

Bonus

• Have background/skills in one of the following fields: UI/UX Design, Visual Design, Product, Psychology, or Human-Computer Interaction.
• Proficient in standard design tools: Figma (what we’re using), Adobe suite, XD, Sketch, etc.
• Able to use research or data to aid your design process.
• Have experience designing for data-focused or business products.

Interview Process

Round 1: A chat with the Product Design team (Short chat to introduce Holistics, our product, discuss to understand your skills, experiences & past projects)

Round 2: Do take-home assignment (offline - deadline 3 days, will be sent after Round 1)

Round 3: Present assignment with our Product team
