Accountant and Operations Executive

The position

The Holistics HR team is seeking a new member to support Vietnam's internal accounting process and operations tasks.

This is a full-time position based in Ho Chi Minh City.

Holistics is a cloud business intelligence SaaS with over 350 customers across 40 countries. Founded in 2015, Holistics has since grown to a profitable and fully self-funded company with over 50 employees spread across 8 cities globally.

Our core business intelligence product allows analytics practitioners to setup a self-service platform that enables their business users to perform self-service analytics and data exploration independently.

What you’ll work on here

Operations Admin:

  • Handle logistics, purchasing of various items: office furniture, medicine, company happy hours, etc.
  • Oversee office resources, maintaining and monitoring the status of employee’s workstations.

Finance Admin: After completing all purchases, continue to record the expenses. You'll be responsible for managing the book-keeping process in Vietnam and involved in preparing the monthly Vietnam Operations Reports for the headquarters.

Vietnam Accountant Executive: Coordinate with the Operations Manager to manage Vietnam's accounting process and legal reporting.

HR Administrator: The company utilizes outsourced services for handling Social Insurance, Personal Income Tax, and related HR tasks per Vietnamese law. This position is responsible for directly overseeing and confirming their efficiency.

Event manager: Currently, the Bonding Event poses a significant challenge in Holistics. We lack the resources to effectively brainstorm ideas and track members for event organization. It would be wonderful if you could take the lead in this area and contribute your creative ideas, especially if you have experience organizing events at university and enjoy such tasks.

Furthermore, if you're interested in handling the compensation and benefits task, you're welcome to take it on.

Perform other tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager from time to time.

Professional Expertise

  • Deep Understanding of Core Accounting Principles, such as expense tracking, asset accounting, and cost analysis.
  • Vietnam HR and Corporate Law: Have a strong foundation in Social Insurance, Personal Income Tax, and Corporate Law.
  • Must Have: Strong Excel skills, ability to use Excel for setting up internal operations processes, calculations, and ad-hoc analytics.
  • Great English writing and communication skills. (IELTs 5.0 ++)
